With this project there are two main questions I wanted to challenge:
1. How can I rethink a new typology at Solbergjordet and incorporate the typology with the surroundings, while keeping the density (FAR)?
2. How can architecture attract and enhance the lifestyle of single parents and elderly at Solbergjordet?
The first questions was to focus on form and how it would be perceiving as an physical object. Form and materiality becomes important here!
The second question is exploring the qualities of the space, the outdoor and its relationship with the local community and the environment.

The strategy behind the floor plans are based on sharing facilities and easy access to the outdoor area. At the same time creating spaces to meet and interact with each other, specially spaces for elderly and young children.
For kids, it is easy to move around and be safe. Parents can easily overlook the playground. The elderly has the possibility to interact from south and north side of the building. Enhancing to different qualities based on the rotation of the sun and views.
